Muhlenberg Township has two internet “safe trading” zones for public use. The first zone can be utilized during normal business hours which are M-F, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. It is located in the seating area halfway down the first floor hall of the Municipal Building at 210 George Street and is marked with a sign on the wall. The second location is for after-hours transactions and is located in the back parking lot of the Municipal Building and is marked with a street sign. Both locations are monitored with surveillance cameras and are located within feet of the Police Department. The Township’s Internet Safe Trading Zone should be utilized when buying or selling via online marketplaces. Be confident and safe when conducting sales transactions from online contacts and sources by using these areas.
