Dog Walker Watch Coming to Muhlenberg Township
Do you ever wonder if you can do anything to help prevent crime in your community? Do you walk your dog in your neighborhood? Don’t have a lot of time to give to a crime watch group, but still want to help? Then Dog Walker Watch could be for you!
Dog Walker Watch is a new program coming to Muhlenberg Township, hosted by the Muhlenberg Township Police Department and brought to you by the National Association of Town Watch. Dog Walker Watch will train dog walkers in all our neighborhoods on how to observe and report suspicious activity. We will train you on what to look for and what details need to be provided; how to remember specific details of locations, persons, vehicles, and behavior. And you can remain anonymous if you wish. After all, who knows your neighborhood better than you?
Dog Walker Watch is a program you do on your own time when you feel like taking your dog for a walk. There are no monthly meetings to attend, and it’s free!
Training Sessions
In order to be a part of Dog Walker Watch, you must attend one training session. The training session will take approximately one half hour. There will three opportunities for the training:
- August 7th at 7 p.m.
- August 10th at 7 p.m.
- August 19th at 9 a.m.

You can register online for the program. The first 100 participants will receive a free Dog Walker Watch T-Shirt.
