Customer Service
The Customer Service Center is designed to provide an easier way for you to conduct business with the Township. Customer Service is our hub of all Township operations. They act as your point of contact for all other departments and can provide basic information for frequently asked questions, accept trash account payments, help with permitting and applications and more. We also have a self-serve service kiosk for payments and facility reservations and program registration.

Emergency Management is responsible for emergency operations planning, emergency reporting, resource management, training and education, and coordination of emergency agencies.

Engineering, Codes & Zoning
View Township codes, download permit and license applications, and learn about available inspection programs. The Engineering, Codes & Zoning department is responsible for all code enforcement, fire licensing, business licensing, rental property inspections, building permits and zoning matters. The department ensures conformity and safety protocols are followed in residences as well as business properties.

Finance Office
The Finance Department works closely with Customer Service and handles all accounts receivable/payable, employee payroll, pension for uniformed and non-uniformed employees, business privilege licenses, trash billing, municipal budgeting and financial planning and management.

Information Technology & Communications
The Department of Information Technology and Communication strives to provide the highest quality technology-based services in the most efficient, cost-effective manner for Township employees and operations as well as our residents, businesses, and vendor partners. The IT Dept. is the curator for all Township related data and electronic files.

The Muhlenberg Township Police Department commits its resources in partnering with the community to promote a safe and secure environment, free of crime and the fear of crime, maintains order and provides for the safe and expeditious flow of traffic, engages in community outreach for partnerships and communication with our residents and area businesses and practice our core values of integrity, respect, service, and fairness.

Parks & Recreation
The Muhlenberg Township Parks and Recreation Department strives to enhance community life by maintaining a quality close-to-home park system and offering a wide range of year–round recreation activities for you to enjoy. Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of all Muhlenberg Township buildings and roads including snow removal, leaf collection, road and building repair, and grounds maintenance, MS4 (compliance, maintenance, and reporting) and more. The department maintains over 73 miles of roadways.

Tax Office
The Tax Collector is an elected office position and handles all real estate tax payments. School, County and Local (The Township’s Taxes) are all billed and collected via the Tax Collector’s office. The Tax Collector can be reached by calling 610.921.3216 or by emailing taxes@muhlenbergtwp.com
